FileMaker RunTime Invoices for Win
Important: 1. FileMaker RunTime solutions that don’t require users to have FileMaker Pro. 2. This file is a simple example for FileMaker invoicing: The Solution File contains four main functional areas: 1. Customers: Use this area to add or edit Customer infomation. 2. Products: Use this area to add or edit Products in your Inventory that can be sold using Invoices. 3. Invoices: Use this area to create an Invoice with multiple line items, pulled from Products, and associated with existing Customers. 4. Preferences: Use this area to store settings that can be used elsewhere in the solution. Use the upper navigation buttons to move between these areas. Click on the User Preferences tab to manage settings used throughout the solution. Click on the “?” button to get more information about the Solution. Description Use this Starter Solution to manage the products you sell, the customers you sell them to, and the invoices for those transactions. How to use this Starter Solution Move easily between functional areas using the overhead navigation buttons. Use the Preferences area to manage settings used throughout the Solution. Manage inventory using the Products section. Items with specified reorder levels trigger conditional formatting on the Invoice. Add and edit Customer information. Use the Email button to the left of the Email field to quickly address an Email to a customer. Click the Related Customers tab to find people with the same last name, from the same company or from the same city as the present customer. Create new invoices using customer and product information stored in those sections. Update your inventory as products are sold. Notice the tooltips as you position your cursor over objects in the solution. They may provide additional support. Tips for customizing this Starter Solution Use “Edit Layout“ to edit field labels to better fit your specific situation. Terms such as “VAT” rather than “Tax” or “Province” rather than “State” can be edited on the layout. Field formats for currency, date and time can be easily changed. Use “Manage Database” to add or edit fields and relationships in the solution to better fit your needs. Use “Manage Scripts” to add or edit scripts to automate processes in the solution. For more help customizing this Starter Solution, see the FileMaker Pro documentation. Printing reports and invoices Click on the “View...” buttons at the top right to view reports or invoices. Choose “Print” from the File Menu. Click “Continue” to return to the previous layout. Additional print and Email options are provided on the Invoice using labeled buttons. [Close] |
